Foundational Program: The Zen Leader

An immersion into the flips of the Zen Leader, based on the book by Dr. Ginny Whitelaw, and led by the author. A gateway into Zen training and leadership applications for seasoned leaders.

  • From Driving Results to Attracting the Future – reversing backwards thinking, and building a sustainable, driving rhythm toward your vision.
  • From Delusion to Awakening – approaching the final flip.

Plus morning and evening Zen meditation, daily yoga stretching, physical training to build leadership presence, Zen cooking designed to support the training, introductory bodywork, coaching, time to reflect and walk the land. Guest speakers and seasonal cultural events.

Information and Registration

The Zen Leader – Spring Green Dojo

This program is supported in 2 parts: a base fee and optional donation. For this program, the base fee is $985 (particle scholarships are available, please send an email to thezenleader@gmail.com for more information), which includes all meals, materials, and program sessions. This fee does not cover the full cost of producing the program, which is why we ask those who can to make an additional donation. These donations allow us to keep our programs affordable for more people, as those before you have done for you. The base fee is paid at the time of registration, and the donation may be made at the program. Register for January 29-February 1 online (pay by credit card or Paypal) / download a flyer (pay by check). Lodging At The House on the Rock Resort – a destination in itself, known for its golf courses, indoor pool and spa. A block of 2-room suites is being held at the special group rate of $135 (June). King suites have a king bed in one room and a seating area in the other. Queen suites have a queen bed in each room. To receive this special rate, make your reservations at least 3 months ahead of time by calling 608-588-7000. Ask for a suite in the “Institute for Zen Leadership” block, and specify King or Queen.


The Zen Leader – Sharpham House, England: October 23-26, 2014

The Zen Leader program at the Sharpham House will be a complete residential experience, with an all-in fee for the program, materials, lodging and meals of $1115.00. Sharpham House is located about 35 minutes from the Exeter airport, options of transport to and from the airport are available. Sharpham House is a beautiful, warm retreat center environment. A single occupancy rooms is available for the weekend. Please register by May 31st, 2014. We expect there to be enough rooms for everyone to have a single, however if you wish to share a room with someone, please let us know.  View/download the Zen Leader – UK flyer for more information.

Who may attend:  seasoned leaders from business, academic, government and non-profit organizations, leadership development professionals. The program is adaptable to all skill levels and body types, and no Zen experience is required.
